Ratesniffers.com.au (“the site”) is an independent Australian home-loan comparison service. We track 85+ Australian home-loan lenders and surface live rates, product features, calculators, news, and educational content.

Some sections of the site link to a free broker consultation. Credit assistance is provided by an Australian-credit-licensed broker — full licensee details and the Credit Guide are provided directly by the broker before any credit assistance begins.

All content on the site — comparison tables, calculators, news articles, guides — is general in nature and does not take into account your personal financial situation, needs, or objectives. It is not financial or credit advice.

Before acting on anything you see here, consider whether it’s appropriate for your situation and seek advice from a licensed professional. The licensed broker who handles your enquiry is the appropriate person to give you specific credit advice after assessing your circumstances.

We refresh rate data and product features daily from authoritative Australian lender sources. Despite that, rates can change at any time, and the figure that any specific lender will actually approve depends on your individual circumstances — income, credit history, deposit, loan-to-value ratio, property type, and lender policy at the time of application.

Comparison rates shown are calculated on a $150,000 loan over 25 years on a secured basis (the statutory base under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009). Different terms, fees, or loan amounts may produce a different comparison rate.

We try hard to keep the site accurate, complete, and current, but we don’t guarantee it. Errors and omissions can occur. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Ratesniffers excludes all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything on the site.

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically download our rate data, calculators, or content for republication without our written permission.
• Attempt to interfere with the site’s operation, bypass security measures, or gain unauthorised access to any system.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form on the site.
• Use the site to send unsolicited communications to others.

The Ratesniffers name, logo, mark, written content, calculator code, design, and site layout are owned by Ratesniffers and protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Lender names, logos, and product names belong to the respective lenders and are used on the site for identification under fair-use principles. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or an affiliate relationship.

The site links to external pages — lender websites, regulators, news sources. We don’t control those pages and aren’t responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own risk.

We may update, change, or remove parts of the site at any time without notice. We may also revise these terms — the “Last reviewed” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these terms is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
